Jackery, provider of premium rechargeable battery products for mobile devices, today officially launched the Jackery Air, the company’s latest innovative battery pack product to extend your gadget's runtime. Currently offered in a bright orange color, the Jackery Air will be available in additional colors later in the year. As of today, it is now available for purchase on Amazon.com for $79.95.

They claim the Jackery Air is the world’s thinnest rechargeable battery. Similar in size to the iPhone 5, the Jackery Air provides users with up to five days of usage and up to 6 months of standby time! The 5000mAh of power certainly packs a lot of power in such a thin package. The USB output connector means you can use anything from Apple iPads to Android tablets to Apple iPhones, or just about any device that charges via USB.

I asked about any patents regarding their standby feature and Jackery said, "No, there is no patent for the standby feature, but Jackery has refined the circuit design and made smallest power consumption. Other competitors cannot achieve 6 months but only 3-4 months or less."
